As a leading global technology startup exhibition, InnoVEX 2026 is bringing together nearly 500 startup teams from 23 countries, marking an 11% increase and reaching a record high. Its exhibits focus on three major fields: AI & Computing, Robotics & Smart Mobility, and Next-Gen Tech. Together, they are presenting the latest progress of AI technology as it moves from proof of concept to industrial application, and from the laboratory into commercial markets.
This year’s InnoVEX features nine national pavilions from France, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Australia, Israel, Canada, Italy, and Czechia. The pavilions are showcasing startup strengths across AI, semiconductors, quantum computing, smart healthcare, XR, smart mobility, and sustainable technology, while reinforcing InnoVEX’s role as a platform for startup exchange and industrial collaboration.
Beyond the national pavilions, InnoVEX 2026 is also gathering accelerators, academic and research institutions, and government resources into a complete innovation ecosystem. It brings together National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and National Cheng Kung University, along with the Global Industry Platform of NTU System (T⁵GIP), which links National Taiwan University, Chang Gung University, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, National Taiwan Normal University, and Ming Chi University of Technology. Together with the Ministry of Education’s Precision Health Industry Cross-disciplinary Talent Cultivation Program, these resources are creating opportunities in technology licensing and cross-border co-development for companies in Taiwan and overseas.
Leading accelerators are also co-organizing themed pavilions, including Intralink, Garage+, Plug and Play Taiwan, HAOSHI Accelerator, Taipei Exchange (TPEx) GISA, and NVIDIA Inception Startups/TAI1. Selected by these accelerators and powered by disruptive frontier technologies, the featured startups are standing out as high-potential prospects for global venture capital and corporate venture capital. Open Source Team Taiwan is also debuting its first open-source AI pavilion, showcasing Taiwan’s strength in extending its hardware advantage into software innovation and underscoring how open-source collaboration is becoming a cornerstone of enterprise competitiveness in the AI era.
During the exhibition, InnoVEX 2026 will host nearly 100 themed forums focusing on AI deployment, global venture capital trends, international startup ecosystems, and women in technology. The program will connect government, industry, investment, and international community resources. Topics will span Taipei’s startup ecosystem promotion, TOP TIER startup showcases and exchange, Arizona’s startup ecosystem experience in the United States, practical applications from the TAI1 AI Accelerator, global VC and CVC investment trends, and industry perspectives from women technology leaders. Through themes such as Canva, LinkedIn, and open-source applications, the forums will also examine how startups are using digital platforms and open technologies to accelerate growth. From technology deployment and capital connections to talent cultivation and diverse leadership, the agenda will reflect the depth and breadth of InnoVEX as a global startup exchange platform.
The exhibition will also host the InnoVEX Pitch Contest, Global Demo Day, the Top 15 startup matchmaking session, and Tech’em High. The InnoVEX Pitch Contest will offer prizes worth nearly US$180,000 and connect startups with international investors, corporate partners, and media exposure, helping teams accelerate access to funding, partnerships, and market opportunities.
