French Pavilion showcases technological innovations at COMPUTEX 2024

The leading global ICT exhibition, COMPUTEX TAIPEI, will be held in 2024 from June 4 th to June 7 th at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 & 2, and La French Tech is not missing out! Organized by Business France, the French Pavilion is composed of 9 companies bringing innovative products and technologies covering diverse fields such as energy efficiency and power management, software interfaces, sensing technology, ICT cybersecurity etc. Among them, some companies show their commitment in markets in Taiwan and Asia by participating in the event once again, while those making their debut will showcase their potential to collaborate in various technological domains.

As in previous years, the French Pavilion will be located in InnoVEX, the zone dedicated to providing a platform for startups and tech innovations. Exhibitors at the French Pavilion will meet potential global customers and partners and will also demonstrate their innovative products and solutions in the “French Pavilion Demo Session” on the InnoVEX Pi Stage from 15:30 to 16:30 on June 5th, Wednesday.

Among the exhibitors, ITEN is the leading company developing and manufacturing ecofriendly solid-state rechargeable SMD micro-batteries with high charge and discharge rate and with no risk of explosion. They are used in many applications as a backup power supply or to assist primary cells to power devices from IoT hardware (such as tracking and monitoring solutions, sensors, data loggers, beacons, and RF tags) to consumer electronics like active styluses and remote controls, and even medical devices. ITEN’s innovative technology is highly recognized by its collaborations with many national institutions in France and by winning international awards such as the Best of Innovation Awards in the “Sustainable and Smart Energy” category at CES 2024 in the United States.

Nanomade, participating in COMPUTEX for the first time this year, is dedicated to developing solutions for making any surface sensitive to deformation with its force-sensing and capacitive functions combined in an ultra-thin single sensor. It can achieve a sensitivity to up to 75 times higher than a conventional strain gauge. The sensors support multi-point force detection and are utilized in touch devices, health monitoring, and structure deformation monitoring, with projects in collaboration with major companies in the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.

SEALSQ is one of the few semiconductor companies that can design and deliver certified secure microcontrollers, such as the chips in smart card readers. They examine the interaction between quantum computing and semiconductors to develop the next generation quantum-resistant secure microcontrollers and related trust services. Additionally, SEALSQ also provides Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and related trust service including assisting in obtaining DACs for MATTER. They propose a complete set of ready-to-use secure elements designed to implement embedded security for any kind of device at any stage of the lifecycle.

Other exhibitors at the French Pavilion include Lumiscaphe, a 3D software development and integration company. Besides providing software packages and digital infrastructure to meet the 3D design needs of industries such as automotive, aerospace, and consumer products, they also offer the Coati Factory solution, a combination of photorealistic 3D representation of customized products and sales module, providing brands and merchants with a diverse, flexible product presentation option. The sound creation studio Music Unit develops MY BEE KNOWS, an audio software which transcribes all types of 3D audio files into a universal 3D format readable by any device, along with Sonic HR, a real Six Dimensions of Freedom headset with high-resolution binaural quality offering diverse applications in sound experiences in entertainment and cultural sites.

In terms solutions to be integrated into hardware, Advanced Magnetic Interaction (AMI) provides patented augmented interaction technology consisting of an array of tri-axis magnetic sensors measuring the magnetic field, in order to calculate in real time the 3D position and orientation of the magnet with extreme accuracy. Dracula Technologies specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of LAYER®, a thin, flexible, environmental-friendly organic photovoltaic device designed using a patented digital printing technique. LAYER® is particularly suitable for powering low-consumption IoT device in indoor environments, having the capacity of converting ambient light into electricity. Energysquare provides conductive wireless charging technology allowing users to charge all their devices simultaneously on a single surface, at maximum speed, without electromagnetic waves and energy loss. Wise Integration proposes power GaN integrated circuits combined with digital controller, in order to drastically improve the power density and energy efficiency of AC-DC power supply for devices operating between 100W and 7000W.

The French Pavilion sincerely welcomes all Tech professionals, VCs, and media to visit InnoVEX and engage with French companies to discover innovative technologies from France.

The French Tech Mission is the entity responsible for supporting the structuring and growth of the ecosystem of French start-ups, in France and internationally. The startup ecosystem in France consists of approximately 25 000 companies.

Attached to the General Directorate of Enterprises (Direction Générale des Entreprises) within the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, it federates and animates the French Tech ecosystem with a network of French Tech Capitals and labeled Communities, in France and abroad in nearly 50 countries.

The French Tech Mission also supports startups, in particular by facilitating their interactions with the administration.
