AMD Chair & CEO Dr. Lisa Su to Deliver Opening Keynote at COMPUTEX 2024

AMD Showcases Industry-Leading Gaming, Commercial, and Mainstream PC Technologies at COMPUTEX 2022

Today, at COMPUTEX 2022, AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) showcased its latest innovations in computing technology to advance the high-performance computing experience. AMD Chair and CEO Dr. Lisa Su provided a look at the upcoming Ryzen™ 7000 Series desktop processors with the new “Zen 4” architecture, which are set to deliver a significant increase in performance upon their launch in the fall of 2022. Additionally, Dr. Su highlighted the strong growth and momentum for AMD in the mobile market as 70 of the more than 200 expected ultrathin, gaming and commercial notebook designs powered by Ryzen 6000 Series processors have been launched or announced to-date. In addition, other AMD executives announced the newest addition to the Ryzen Mobile lineup, “Mendocino;” the newest AMD smart technology, SmartAccess Storage; and more details of the new AM5 platform, including support from leading motherboard manufacturers.

Prior to the opening of COMPUTEX 2022 on Tuesday, organizer Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) invited leaders of select cutting-edge global technology companies to share their thoughts with the international media regarding navigating the changing times. The press conference — themed “Digital Resilience for the Global ICT Industry” — served as a preface for the return of in-person events at the international trade show after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The long-awaited physical COMPUTEX 2022 will kick off on May 24 and run through May 27, along with the 2-week COMPUTEX DigitalGo Online Exhibition organized by TAITRA. This online exhibition breaks the geographic barriers and limitations to connect international buyers and exhibitors at a grand annual tech event. The global press conference held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center today opened with the theme of Digital Resilience for the Global ICT Industry.

Global Startups Get Together at InnoVEX 2022 to Unleash Innovation

InnoVEX, the exhibit dedicated to startups at COMPUTEX, will be held physically on 4F, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, from May 24 to 27 and virtually on COMPUTEX DigitalGo (May 24 to June 6). InnoVEX 2022 attracts 195 startups from 14 countries to participate in, injecting robust and rich innovative energy to the technology ecosystem.

COMPUTEX 2022

TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) announced today that half a dozen NVIDIA executives present the company’s keynote at COMPUTEX 2022, Asia’s leading IT show. This digital keynote will be on Tuesday, May 24, at 11:00 AM (UTC+8), to discuss how AI is revolutionizing networking, to the enterprise data center gaming, and content creation.

Texas Instruments to speak on the transformation of power-supply design with GaN technology at 2022 COMPUTEX Forum

2022 COMPUTEX Taipei organizers have invited Texas Instruments (TI) to speak at the COMPUTEX 2022 Forum. Luke Lee, TI’s president of Taiwan, Korea and South Asia, will deliver a speech on Thursday, May 26, at 9:30 am. Lee will discuss how the company’s leading gallium nitride (GaN) technology overcomes power-efficiency challenges in data centers in his session titled, “Data Centers are Expanding – Drive Higher Efficiency with GaN Technology.”

2022 COMPUTEX CEO Keynotes & Forum Registration now open.

COMPUTEX Taipei 2022 will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, from May 24 to May 27, 2022. CEOs and senior executives from global tech giants including AMD, NXP and Supermicro are invited to attend the Keynotes. TI, NVIDIA, NXP, Ericsson, Nokia, Delta, hTC, IBM and Dassault Systèmes are invited to speak on COMPUTEX Forum.
