At the largest COMPUTEX to date, COMPUTEX 2026, hosted and organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), buyers and suppliers sat down to explore possibilities of future partnerships at the COMPUTEX 2026 Sourcing Meetings.
Tahir Kiziltas, CEO and founder of Riyadh-based Frontline Solutions, said he had been invited by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to attend the Sourcing Meeting and COMPUTEX three years ago, but was only able to attend this year.

Kiziltas stated that while his company has not yet extensively engaged AI solutions, Taiwan has a wide selection of hardware and software suppliers, with competitive pricing compared to other Asian countries, and that he and his team would be glad to take the opportunity to explore possibilities for partnerships and collaborations.
He expressed happiness at being here in Taiwan and expected the company’s visit to COMPUTEX 2026’s sourcing meeting to be fruitful.
Jason Simons, Business Manager at Ingram Micro New Zealand and a longtime visitor to COMPUTEX, has returned this year to seek out emerging brands to help navigate recent market shortages. He said he found the Sourcing Meetings to be beneficial for both his company and local suppliers, strengthening existing relationships and opening new business opportunities.
H.Y Group CEO Ohad Wiezel, on his first visit to COMPUTEX this year, noted how the event was refreshing, for him, compared with other international tech events, as COMPUTEX was more down-to-earth and content-driven with a heavier focus on compute, “which was closer to his heart.”
Wiezel confirmed that the Sourcing Meetings were highly beneficial for his company, with one session showing great potential to develop into a significant business opportunity, reinforcing the event’s relevance and value.

Monesh Rugwani, managing director of the Dubai-based Experts Computer, was pleasantly surprised by the changes he saw in COMPUTEX after an 8-10 year hiatus, an absence largely due to scheduling conflicts, and expressed his regret of having missed the last few years, jokingly stating, “I should have come before,” and that he would not miss the show again.
He said that the COMPUTEX show was excellent, as it provided companies with a platform to meet with Far Eastern manufacturers, vendors and suppliers, as well as regional component manufacturers.
While matched with only three suppliers this year, Rugwani praised the quality of the matches and expressed confidence in landing a deal, highlighting the event’s potential to foster new partnerships and future opportunities.
