Korea’s startup ecosystem has experienced rapid growth in recent years, rising into the world’s top 20 startup ecosystems, with a strong focus on key sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), XR, big data, biomedicine, and ICT services. At this year’s InnoVEX, the Korea Pavilion is jointly organized by KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) ,GIPA (Goyang Industry Promotion Agency), and KFEZs.
The pavilion brings five Korean companies and four Korean Free Economic Zone authorities to Taiwan, showcasing Korea’s strengths in the integration of advanced technologies, digital content and investment environments. REABIJEON presents an AI facial-recognition health measurement system capable of transmitting health data in real time. LD Electronics offers customized ICT, FCT, and EOL testing solutions. BWAVE combines EEG and PPG analysis to develop an AI-powered mental wellness platform. Mangrove introduces 8K DR underwater XR and VR ocean-experience technologies, while Millennial Works showcases AI photo booths, AI idols, and immersive entertainment content.
In addition, representatives from KFEZs — Busan-Jinhae, Gwangyang Bay Area, Gyeonggi, and Daegu-Gyeongbuk —will participate in the pavilion to introduce Korea’s globally competitive investment environment and industrial infrastructure. KFEZs are specially designated areas established by the Korean government to enhance the business and living environment for foreign-invested companies and to actively attract global investment.
Through various regulatory incentives and administrative support, KFEZs provide multinational companies with advanced logistics networks, manufacturing clusters, R&D ecosystems, and diverse investment benefits, while continuing to promote industrial innovation and international collaboration.
Through this exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the latest trends in Korea’s AI and digital content industries and explore future collaboration and investment opportunities.
