ICP DAS Safeguards Data Centers with Smart Infrared Monitoring and Early Warning Solutions
As demand for generative AI and high-performance computing continues to rise, data center power density is increasing rapidly, intensifying thermal and electrical loads. Equipment overheating, abnormal electrical connections, and potential electrical hazards can accumulate unnoticed, becoming critical factors that affect data center operational stability.
Thermal Imaging Combined with Edge Computing to Detect Hidden Anomalies
The solution integrates the Infrared Temperature Sensing Module and Data Concentrator to enable continuous monitoring of distribution panels, UPS systems, server power supplies, and critical electrical nodes. Using thermal and visible-light image fusion technology, the system can quickly pinpoint abnormal hotspots and supports multi-point temperature measurement and customizable threshold settings, significantly enhancing anomaly detection capabilities.

All data is processed and analyzed in real time at the edge. When abnormal temperature trends are detected, the system automatically triggers alerts and notifications, significantly shortening response time, reducing manual workload, and improving overall operational and maintenance efficiency.
Temperature Trend Monitoring for Early Failure Prediction
In high-density data centers, many equipment failures are first reflected in temperature changes. The IRT solution leverages long-term trend monitoring and data analytics to issue early warnings before abnormalities escalate, effectively preventing unplanned downtime and equipment damage.
In addition, the system supports Modbus, MQTT, and RESTful APIs, enabling seamless integration with existing SCADA or DCIM platforms. This facilitates IT and OT data integration while enhancing overall data center visibility and management efficiency.
