Demo Innovation: EBRD Incubates Green Impact

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) spotlighted green technology at COMPUTEX 2024, introducing innovative products in sustainable energy and technologies from renewable energy systems, to smart energy-saving devices and environmental monitoring solutions. During this year’s Demo Day, EBRD presented a selection of 10 startups and their groundbreaking technologies that are poised to enhance the growth of green technology.

During this year’s Demo Day, EBRD presented a selection of 10 startups and their groundbreaking technologies that are poised to enhance the growth of green technology.

Ten Advanced Tech Startups Presented at EBRD Demo Day

At Demo Day, EBRD was thrilled to feature 10 promising startups selected from its Star Venture program. These innovative ventures from Europe and Central Asia were chosen for their exceptional contributions to the fields of AI and data, digital solutions, energy and healthcare, and IoT and manufacturing.

Among these exciting startups was Yola Fresh (http://www.yolafresh.com), a service that applies machine learning and AI to the fresh produce supply chain to estimate supply and demand for dynamic pricing and more. S1lkpay (http://www.s1lkpay.com) also presented its advanced financial and digital technologies to help users transfer cash peer-to-peer with just one click. The green technology capabilities of Darbco (http://www.darbco.com)also drew acclaim with its user-friendly cleaning robots for different solar panel installations, helping to solve needs in the renewable energy industry.

EBRD Hailed Success of Demo Day

The EBRD Demo Day at InnoVEX successfully demonstrated transformative advancements in the technology industry. The 10 participating startups from the EBRD’s Star Venture program fostered potential investments and business partnerships with global participants, making full use of the opportunities presented by Demo Day to ignite interest in green tech among potential partners. Many collaborations were fostered among incubators, startups, and investors focused on sustainability and the net-zero transition in the technology and digital services sectors.
