The French pavilion was back at this year’s COMPUTEX Taipei! Organized by Business France, the pavilion under the banners of la French Tech and Choose France showcased 10 innovative companies with solutions covering key tech domains such as power supply and management, consumer electronics, human-machine interaction, and cybersecurity.
Among the exhibitors, ITEN specializes in the design and production of solid-state and eco-friendly micro-batteries that can be recharged at a constant voltage and in just minutes. With no risk of explosion, they can be integrated into a multitude of products as a power back-up solution or for IoT and electronic tag applications. Having raised 80 million euros in equity in Q4/2022, ITEN is currently setting up a second high-volume production site.
Regarding power supply and management, Energysquare provides conductive wireless charging technology making charging devices simultaneously on a single surface possible, with no electromagnetic waves and no energy loss. Wise Integration proposes power GaN integrated circuits combined with a new digital controller in order to drastically improve the power density and energy efficiency of AC-DC power supply.

As for consumer electronics, Daan Tech produces its flagship product Bob—the most autonomous, eco-compact, and fast dishwasher Made in France and with over 65,000 units sold worldwide. NEMEIO has created the first universal and fully customizable keyboard equipped with an Electronic Paper display, allowing total customization and endless possibilities.

Tackling the subject of human-machine interaction, AMI provides augmented interaction technology using tri-axis magnetic sensors and algorithms to calculate in real time the 3D position and orientation of a magnet with extreme accuracy. The sound creation studio Music Unit developed audio software that transcribes all types of 3D audio files into a universal 3D format readable by any device. ART-Fi’s technology allows instant and precise near-field measurements of all electromagnetic wave characteristics for human radio frequency exposure assessment.
In terms of cybersecurity, SEALSQ has developed next generation quantum-resistant semiconductors, public key infrastructure (PKI), and related trust services, and provides a complete set of ready-to-use secure elements for embedded security. SECURE-IC’s cybersecurity solutions lie in the provision of hardware code and software for electronic components and their management in the cloud. Its components are embedded in millions of chips for smartphones, laptops, automobiles, smart meters, and passports.
