At the end of 2021, Far EasTone Telecommunications Co., Ltd. launched the Far EasTone Startup Accelerator, focusing initially on two startup categories: innovation services and the big data/AI/IoT ecosystem.
The first batch proved to have outstanding outcomes and a good model of corporate startup engagement (CSE), leading to even more ambitious milestones. The Far EasTone Startup Accelerator has achieved the following results so far: 37 startups helped across two batches, US$3.3 million in business opportunities created, 12 innovative solutions developed, 10 startups under evaluation for investment, over 53 sales leads generated, and more.
In 2023, with post-epidemic trends and digital transformation in industries, as well as the increasing demands of net-zero emissions and the new economy, the accelerator is focusing on five areas: smart healthcare, ESG sustainability, smart retail/services/the new economy, smart cities, and smart manufacturing.
As COMPUTEX and InnoVEX serve as a platform for the startup ecosystem to expand its network and promote innovative solutions, the Far EasTone Startup Accelerator was proud to lead five startups to participate in this significant event for the first time. The startups joining InnoVEX 2023 and the InnoVEX Pi Stage were 3drens, GranDen, Chimes AI, Smart Tag, and TransIoT.
