World-class event COMPUTEX Taipei, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), is precisely where one expects to find new business opportunities and possible solutions providers, and why the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) delegation for the Sustainable Development of ICT Industry through Business Matching in Taipei event attended the event.

The sourcing meeting event took place in Room 505, 5th Floor of the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1, on Tuesday (5/30), outside of which several delegation members undertook interviews to share a deeper understanding of what they hope to achieve at the sourcing meeting and whether it was of use to them and their overall perceptions of the program.

Hailing from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Gerege Systems LLC specializes in information technology (IT) and has a broad array of services, such as self-serving kiosks, intelligent Point of Sale (POS) systems, as well as developing the technology and system to help track the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic during the pandemic years.
Project Manager J. Sarangerel said the company hoped to find new hardware and POS systems and was hoping to find potential partners in the hardware manufacturing industry.
Ms. Sarangerel said the visit was fruitful, and as of Tuesday (5/30), had found a possible partner, pending further discussion, adding that overall, Taiwanese companies had a broad spectrum of information and communication technology (ICT) products and services, which could enable Gerege the opportunity to offer its services to the Taiwanese ICT sector.

Armenian company Kruzo, offering a modern platform matching talented designers with the needs and requirements of companies, has also joined the event. CEO and founder Tigran Grigoryants said he was drawn to the event while questing for innovation and inspiration.
The visit – the first for the company – was made with presuppositions and meant to explore innovativeness that would perhaps jolt one’s inspiration. At the same time, it was also a foray to acquaint itself with new connections in Asia, a region that, according to Grigoryants, was “largely untapped” regarding business opportunities, and to explore the possibility of growing new markets.

FitKit, based out of North Macedonia, is an app developer serving as an intermediary between service providers, such as gyms, SPA centers and massagers, and the end users.
FitKit co-founder Josif Damjanov said the company had learned of the sourcing event from the EBRD but had decided to attend the event because Taiwan, with the potential to offer better technology and services, could potentially grow the company’s value, and at the end of the day, provide its end-users more conveniences.
The company had come to the event with a clear goal: to obtain a solution for live-streaming of online classes and its coaches, as well as group activities, to the home of FitKit users while retaining crystal-clear video and clarity of audio, and has affirmed the event’s usefulness in helping it find potential partners and solution providers.
