Taiwan Excellence Awards feature a plethora of sleek office gadgets

Taking a stroll through exhibits at the Taiwan Excellence Award pavilion, it is hard to miss the plethora of next-generation office equipment. When working in an office, the most important equipment to have is obviously a computer. Featured at the pavilion is the PS42 ultra-slim laptop by Micro-Star Int’l. Co. Ltd. This state-of-the-art laptop has an incredibly slim frame, measuring 15.9 mm thick and weighing a mere 1.19 kg . Most impressively, it features an amazing 10+ hours of battery life.
A match made in heaven with the PS42 is Avision Inc.’s PaperAir 215 document scanner. The PaperAir Manager comes with a powerful search engine that can scan and recognize all kinds of documents and images, which can be saved to a database using a text-recognition process.
And there is no better option to save such documents than the military-grade shockproof AC731 portable hard drive by Apacer Technology Inc. The AC731 is able to withstand falls of up to 1.2 meters, safeguarding hours of users’ hard work. Elsewhere, Delta Electronics Inc. presents the QUMI Q38, an ultra-portable smart 1080p pocket projector with Android OS, wireless connectivity options and up to 2 hours of battery life for on-the-go projection.
