The series name, Soho, was derived from the famously bustling heart of London, well-known for its vibrant and unique architecture. As a major landmark of London, it has drawn people from around the world to come and see the busy streets for themselves. One of the most distinctive attractions are the neon lights, which illuminate the lively and energetic nightlife in the district. Akasa’s Soho series tries to recreate the vibrant, colourful, and exciting atmosphere of this famous area in London.

Roar of Excitement for Fanless Cases for Intel’s Tiger Canyon

Following Intel’s release of a new line of Tiger Canyon NUCs under the Pro moniker (NUC 11 Pro), Akasa introduces several compatible cases under the “TN” series. This includes the “Turing TN” case that can be used as a statement piece in a home theatre, desktop setup or recording studio. If size is of most concern, Akasa has released the “Newton TN” solution – with a volume of less than 1.9L, its small profile makes it discreet and great for smaller desktop setups. For more niche applications, specifically for harsher environments such as the outdoors, there is the “Pascal TN” case which is rated IP65.

The New “Cutting Hedge” Maze Pro Case

The show also introduced Akasa’s new “cutting hedge” Maze Pro case which is perfect to complete any Raspberry Pi 4 setup with a stylish passive cooling case. Featuring a modern design which is also practical; the case acts as a heatsink, and the maze pattern increases the surface area for heat dissipation. Furthermore, the case has a sleek built-in programmable power switch, which integrates easily with the Pi 4 using just one extra script line. A removable GPIO slot has also been included with the case, which greatly helps with GPIO pin accessibility to allow for easier bug testing for wiring.
